Although our news section has been quiet for the last couple of months, we are now back with a vengeance.

Since our last posts T M McGrath has powered his way through 2 new series of paintings, ‘Northern Brushstrokes’

and Watercolour-Summer of 17

Moorside Factory 1

Cliffside

The range and virtuosity of Tom’s work never ceases to amaze me. Once an idea has ‘pinged’, it goes from concept to action in a very short time, so fast that it’s sometimes difficult to keep up with the changes of style and emotion.

However, what always emerges is the constant theme of the colour, life, and adaptability of the northern industrial heritage. In Tom’s hands, ancient, decrepit mills and derelict sites become living things again – reflecting both their past glories and also their current contribution to our landscape. As the cities and towns evolve so does T M McGrath’s work.

Behind the scenes, we’re also been revamping the web site to allow us to exhibit more of the art works in the gallery. We hope to reveal our new site in the next couple of weeks and will present the paintings as a number of series on the gallery page.

Meanwhile do check out the current gallery as all the paintings are available to buy either as originals or limited edition signed prints.

We’re also tried to make the site a little bit easier to navigate and a little less wordy. Hopefully, this will help you to access these beautiful works of art by such a talented guy.
