The ‘Cityscapes Renaissance Series’ came from T M McGrath’s desire to emphasise both the decline and regeneration of the industrial landscape of the towns and cities that surround him. For Tom, the North has now become a vibrant hub of energy once more.
By using bright candy colours and intriguing interlocking blocks and stripes, Tom makes today’s Northern landscape into a working, playing, living, fun environment which is no longer enslaved by its industrial heritage.
