‘Approaching Storm’
We’re adding a couple of new paintings to the ‘Northern Town series’, (our current shortlisted Royal Academy Summer Exhibition painting, is also one of this series).
Again, the Northern Town is seen through a hazy light, this time that of an oncoming storm. The buildings of the town are set starkly against the ever present hills of the northern landscape.
T M McGrath (Tom’s) fascination with his surroundings continues apace, but watch this space as he’s returned to the sweeping movements, vivid colours and large canvases of his earlier works in paintings completed earlier this month and soon they’ll soon be posted here!
